Homicide, arson investigators probe fatal Selden fire
A 29-year-old woman was killed Monday morning after a fire broke out in her Selden apartment. The blaze broke out at around 5:30 a.m. at the Village in the Woods apartment of Amy Yeung on Redwood Court.

A 29-year-old woman was killed Monday morning after a fire broke out in her Selden apartment.
The blaze broke out at around 5:30 a.m. at the Village in the Woods apartment of Amy Yeung on Redwood Court. Yeung was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center, where she died.
Ten fire departments were needed to contain the blaze, and three firefighters suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and arson detectives say they are investigating. Ten of the units at the apartment complex were destroyed.
