Homeless man found dead behind Dunkin' Donuts in East Meadow

A homeless man was found dead behind a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot in East Meadow early Sunday morning.
His friends called him Wild Bill. He was well known for his strong opinions and his love of rock and roll.
Joe Klein, one of Bill's friends, tells News 12 Long Island that on cold nights his friend would find shelter in some buildings along Hempstead Turnpike and inside the Dunkin' Donuts.
The executive director of the human services agency INN calls this death a tragedy. While most organizations are doing everything possible to help the homeless, the nonprofit organization says it has a limited number of beds and resources.
