A 101-year-old Holocaust survivor is working with the chefs at The Bristal Assisted Living at North Hills to prepare a pre-Passover holiday seder.
Friedel Lambert is serving her favorite Passover staple, matzo balls along with honey cake and other traditional dishes.
The celebration is a family tradition for Lambert that has stood the test of challenging times.
"My mom lost her parents and her sisters and brother in the Holocaust, and it was really important to carry on the Jewish traditions and foods and to be able to be together," Lambert's daughter says.
Lambert will be celebrating Passover with her two children, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
