Hewlett man set to be arraigned in connection to fatal July 4th shooting in Roosevelt

A Hewlett man is scheduled to be arraigned today in connection to a Fourth of July shooting that left one man dead and two others wounded.
The incident happened in Roosevelt on Hudson Avenue when an argument broke out and three people were shot
Tavon Greenhill, 27, of Hempstead was pronounced dead at the scene
Police say a 31-year-old woman from Uniondale and a 21-year-old man from Hempstead were injured.
Lawrence Sims, of Hewlett, is the second person to be arrested in connection to the shooting. He is being held at Nassau Police Headquarters is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
Sims faces two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and attempted murder
Roosevelt resident Michael Wright was arrested in July and charged with second degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
