The Hempstead School Board held its first meeting since the beginning of the new school year.
Parents attended to complain about how many of their children were not given schedules for the first two days of school. News 12 has previously reported that this comes following a massive surge of new students in the district.
Students had to wait in the auditorium for hours.
The high school's principal apologized for the fiasco. He says that all scheduling issues should be fixed by Monday.
