WHAT TO EXPECT
Clouds build this afternoon, stray shower possible but no washouts!
  • Scattered storms expected Sunday, a few could produce frequent lightning and heavy rain, but some neighborhoods will stay dry
  • Storms are less numerous Sunday afternoon
  • A nice dry stretch early next week, and less humid!
It's a beautiful start to the weekend, but clouds and humidity will build this afternoon. Tonight and Sunday morning, a pop up strong storm could produce damaging wind and heavy rain, but it's not a washout. Although storms may be severe, they are scattered and many neighborhoods will remain dry. A cold front will sweep in overnight Monday and it will feel very comfortable and dry Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
TODAY: Afternoon Clouds
It's a nice start, but a stray shower is possible later in the day with mostly cloudy skies after noon. Highs in the mid 80s.
SUNDAY: Scattered Strong Storm
There's an isolated risk for storms with lightning and damaging wind in the morning. Storms will be less widespread in the afternoon. Hot and humid. Highs near 90.
MONDAY & TUESDAY: A nice break!
Humidity is low and temperatures will feel comfortable despite abundant sunshine. Enjoy!
LATE WEEK HEAT WAVE?
Temperatures will climb on Thursday and potentially remain in the 90s for a few days. No significant rain risk in the forecast here.
