Some health experts are worried the pandemic could get worse with so many people getting out and enjoying the Labor Day weekend.
As of this weekend, there were more than 6.2 million coronavirus cases in the U.S. and 188,000 deaths.
Officials warn those numbers could spike if Americans don't take precautions.
Many Long Islanders that News 12 spoke to say they are noticing and adhering to the safety measures in place.
