A harbor seal that was tangled in a netting in Hempstead Bay has been rescued.
This male harbor seal was rescued Monday by a Bay constable.
News 12 learned the constable helped free the seal and called the Riverhead Foundation.
The seal is now recovering and expected to be OK.
