The Hampton Classic attracts thousands to the East End, which in turn leads to a whole lot of mouths to feed.
From burgers and fries, to tacos, lobster rolls and Indian food, there's something for every taste.
"There's not a lot of outdoor events where you can have a good chicken tikka masala and also a good hot dog or a burger," says Shanette Cohen, executive director of the Hampton Classic. "So we really love that we have such a nice variety."
And on a hot, sunny day, one of the longest lines comes at the lemonade stand. That's where you'll find Harry, who's been perfecting his recipe for more than 50 years.
While vendors focus on the fans, other workers make sure the horses have full stomachs.
"It's a big production. We have semi-trucks that come in with truckloads of hay and feed and bedding for the horses to be sleeping on, to house them for eight days," says Cohen.
They even get dessert, like specially made donuts and cupcakes from Snaks 5th Avenchew.
