Volunteers dressed up as superheroes and spooky characters spent Halloween building a home.

The Habitat for Humanity volunteers worked in-costume on the Farmingville home.

Their costumes ranged from "Orange is the New Black" characters to zombie killers.

The house will eventually become a home to a single mom and her two young daughters.
