Here’s what you need to know:
  • A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect for Brooklyn from 6 a.m. through 11 a.m. Up to 1 foot
  • Steady rain continues through the morning commute. Temperatures rise to the upper 30s. Last weekend's snow continues to melt and be washed away by the rain. Some puddles are expected through mid-day.
  • It will be drier and breezy this afternoon with increasing sunshine. Temperatures will be milder in the mid to upper 40s.
  • Valentine's Day will be sunny, colder and windy. Highs in the mid to upper 30s.
  • Storm #3 will be stronger with a wintry mix changing to heavy rain this weekend. The timing is after 12 p.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Sunday. 1-2 inches of snowfall, with a thin glaze of ice is possible between 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The snow and ice will get washed away by the steady rain through Sunday. Over 1 inch of rainfall is possible. Large puddles, pooling in low lying/ poor drainage areas and poor visibility is expected. There's a chance the rain can change back to snow and temperatures fall throughout the day. Stay tuned for updates!
