Some Castle Hill car owners are frustrated at spending Christmas cash on costly car repairs due to vandalism.
News 12 The Bronx found at least nine vehicles parked along Olmstead Avenue missing mirrors. The most recent vandalism spree occurred last week. Residents say mostly late-model sedans and SUVs are being targeted.
"You gotta come up with the money to replace the mirror ? and it's a lot of money," says Chakil Craig. "I could be spending money on other things."
News 12 did witness police filing reports at the scene Sunday. Car owners are asking for more surveillance and a heavier police presence.
