A new COVID-19 report card is up and running online for every school across Long Island and the state.
The site lists the number of daily positive cases among students and staff for each school.
The site also shows the number of students and staff currently on campus. The information will be updated every 24 hours.
Meanwhile, more Long Island schools are closed today because of coronavirus cases.
Officials say a student tested positive at East Islip High, and the school is closed so it can be cleaned. The Department of Health is conducting contact tracing.
Meanwhile, Northport High School is closed again today. Students are learning virtually after a classmate tested positive.
The district says a contact tracing investigation is still underway by county health officials.
A decision about the SAT scheduled for Saturday is expected to be announced this afternoon.
Deer Park High School also remains on full virtual learning Friday. The school sent that updated message to the community after someone in the building tested positive for COVID-19. In-person classes will resume on Tuesday.
Lastly, in the Mount Sinai School District, officials say there is no in-person school for students in the elementary school, middle school and high school through next Tuesday.
