Residents in the Manhasset hometown of a man accused in a grisly murder say they are stunned at the unspeakable crime.
Evan Marshall was arrested in Glen Cove Friday after the head of 57-year-old Denise Fox was found in the trunk of his car. Police say Marshall dismembered Fox, whose remaining body parts were found in several trash bins in Marshall?s basement. Marshall is being charged with second-degree murder, and police are checking Marshall?s previous residences for unsolved murders fitting a similar pattern.
Workers at Villa Milano in Manhasset say Marshall was a frequent customer. They describe him as a loner who didn?t pay attention to too many things and was frequently by himself. Marshall graduated from Manhasset High School, where he was voted ?Most Gullible? by classmates his senior year. Marshall played football and sported a Mohawk hairdo in 1993.
