The band Men Without Hats probably never envisioned their classic “Safety Dance” to be used to teach important lessons during a global pandemic.
But the teachers at Lenox Elementary School in Baldwin have proved once again that anything is possible in 2020.
They released a music video, but changed the iconic song’s lyrics to reflect the importance of washing hands, social distancing and wearing a mask.

“Don't worry, I'm not quitting my day job,” she told News 12. “The kids though, they're great at it and sing it all day.”
