Georgia man arrested in connection to death outside Franklin Township hotel

Police say a 54-year-old man from Georgia was arrested after a woman was found dead inside a car parked outside a hotel in Franklin Township early Saturday morning.
Detectives say the suspect identified as Keith Demery called 911 around 6 a.m. asking for help.
When officers arrived at the scene on Davidson Avenue, Demery took them to a vehicle in the hotel parking lot where a woman was found unresponsive in the front passenger seat.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Demery was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and later taken into custody.
Authorities say the woman had not been identified as of Saturday evening.
Demery was charged with murder and possession of a weapon.
It was not immediately clear how the victim died.
