The Shirley community gathered this morning to remember Anthony Stinson – the 13-year-old fatally struck by a Suffolk police car while riding his bike last Saturday in Shirley.

The Shirley community gathered Monday to remember Anthony Stinson – the 13-year-old fatally struck by a Suffolk police car while riding his bike last Saturday in Shirley.
News 12 was told the officer who hit him had a green light and her lights and sirens were on.
The attorney general is investigating, as required by law.
Stinson died days after the incident. His funeral took place at St. John the Evangelist Church in Center Moriches.
