The state Attorney General's Office has opened an investigation into the death of a teen who was killed when he was struck by a Suffolk police car while riding his bicycle.

Anthony Stinson was hit by the patrol car on Saturday in Shirley. It happened at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway and Adobe Drive. Authorities say the officer had a green light and had her lights and sirens on.

The 13-year-old died days later. His organs were donated to help seven children.
