The fourth suspect in a Sag Harbor rape case pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday.
Shakeem Davis, 16, says he had nothing to do with the rape and sodomy of a 15-year-old girl at a house party Tuesday. Davis is accused, along with 19-year-old Brandon Jackson, 18-year-old Paul Ward and 21-year-old Kourtney Hughes, of luring the girl to an empty summer home on Cuffee Drive and assaulting her. Police say the house belonged to the grandparents of two of the suspects.
Jackson, Ward and Hughes all pleaded not guilty on Thursday. All four suspects are being held on $20,000 bail and are charged with first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sex act and burglary.
