Billy Joel has released a new song for the first time in nearly two decades.

“Turn the Lights Back On” is already a fan favorite. The Piano Man hasn’t released new music for the longest time - 17 years that is - until now.

Roger Luce, from WBAB’s Roger & JP, said the song, “Spans Billy Joel’s career. I feel like, it is very dramatic, heartfelt song, I thought it was really good.”

Looney Tunes Record store in West Babylon tells News 12 people are always coming in for Billy Joel’s music.

Karl Groeger, the owner Looney Tunes Record Store said, “We have sold more Billy Joel music than anyone. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t sell a Billy Joel CD or record.”

The song is available on streaming services, and the limited-edition vinyl is only being sold through Joel’s website.
