A Flanders man was found guilty of attempting to rape his 9-year-old niece.
Prosecutors say the suspect, whose name is not being released to protect the the victim's identity, sexually abused the girl at a home where they both lived in December 2021.
The victim later told her parents.
The man faces up to 15 years in prison when he is sentenced in February.
