Surveillance video from inside the Valva house was shown for the first time Wednesday in the murder trial of Michael Valva.
The footage showed Anthony and Thomas Valva's room on the second floor.
At times, Anthony Valva was laying on the floor or sleeping on a Wee-Wee Pad. In another video the Anthony was saying "I have to go to the bathroom, I have to go badly."
There were also around a dozen videos of Anthony Valva in the garage, then a tent outside that Michael Valva was speaking into with children's sneakers outside of it.
Videos of both Thomas and Anthony Valva in the garage were also shown.
Lead detective Sgt. Norberto Flores also testified again on Wednesday.
He says after watching videos form inside the home surveillance, he called Child Protective Services because he had concern for the safety of the children in the household.
CPS removed the children and brought them to the ex-fiancée's grandparent's home in Franklin Square on the night of Thomas Valva's death.
Detectives interviewed the five living children, staff at the school and medical staff at the hospital.
Michael Valva and his fiancée at the time, Angela Polina, were arrested and a search warrant was executed at the home.
Flores also testified that he accessed texts and communications between Michael Valva and Polina discussing punishments for Thomas and Anthony Valva.
