First responders help woman deliver baby in her Rocky Point home

Two paramedics and a police officer helped a woman deliver a baby in the hallway of her home in Rocky Point.

Two paramedics and a police officer helped a woman deliver a baby in the hallway of her home in Rocky Point.
Courtney Montanez told News 12 she began to feel contractions around 4 a.m. Saturday. She says she thought she had some time, but then around 7:30 a.m. she called 911 when she felt the baby coming.
Officer Jason Famoso and two Rocky Point Fire Department paramedics, Kim Pokorny and Nick Pobat, arrived and helped Montanez deliver the baby in the hallway of her home.
At 7:37 a.m., baby Christian was born, weighing in at 8 pounds.
Montanez and her baby were taken to the hospital where they are doing well.
