Nearly a dozen ducklings had to be rescued from a storm drain in Suffolk County.

The Bay Shore Fire Department responded to the report of baby ducklings stuck on Tuesday afternoon.

2nd Assistant Chief Kyle Voges was first on the scene and confirmed there were 11 animals inside the drain.

The incident happened behind Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Bay Shore.

With the assistance of Suffolk County PD Emergency Service Section, all of the ducklings were safely removed.
