Flames tore through a home in Smithtown overnight.

Crews say the smoke and flames were so intense by the time they got there, that they had to wait before they could go inside the house on Roundabout Road.

Investigators say no one was injured, and the family that lives in the house is actually away on vacation right now.

Investigators have not yet determined what may have caused the fire.
