A bomb threat was reported last Friday on Fire Island.

The Coast Guard says its law enforcement team and local police responded after receiving a report of a potential bomb threat on the Sayville Ferry Service in Fire Island Pines.

Authorities say all passengers were evacuated.

A search of the ferry was conducted.

The incident is still under investigation as of Thursday night.

Suffolk police say no charges were filed.
