Crews battled a fire that sparked early Saturday morning at the Frontier Mobile Home Park in North Amityville.
The flames broke out just after 4:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it is being called suspicious.
It marks the sixth at the trailer park in the last year.
As News 12 reported, the land is being redeveloped, and many residents say they were forced out or wrongfully evicted.
Evictions at the Frontier Mobile Home Park started in 2014, after the Town of Babylon approved the site for redevelopment in 2011 with plans for 500 new apartments and a shopping complex.
Residents of the park have been receiving up to $20,000 for relocation, but neighbors believe late checks and missed payments may be the reason for what they call retribution to the trailers.
The damage from Saturday's fire is said to be extensive, with multiple homes damaged.
