A federal judge has recommended tossing a lawsuit against Jake's 58 Hotel & Casino.
The lawsuit was filed by four residents aimed at closing the casino and overturning a village law allowing gambling facilities.
It also alleges the Village Board is engaged in illegal zoning practices.
The judge’s recommendation will be considered when the case moves to Federal District Court.
