A dumpster fire in Coney Island has sent three people to the hospital with two of them in critical condition, according to the FDNY.

Fire officials told News 12 that a dumpster fire caused serious damage to the outside of a 24-story building around 7:30 p.m. Friday. 

The damage made its way inside the building, bringing heavy smoke with it.

The fire is now under control, and fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
