The FDA has issued a nationwide salmonella recall linked to a North Fork farm.

Satur Farms in Cutchogue is voluntarily recalling baby spinach and mesclun.

The FDA says it was distributed in both New York and Florida. Food inspectors detected salmonella during routine tests.

Salmonella can potentially cause deadly infections in young children, the frail and senior citizens.
