Another Farmingdale parent is taking legal action against the school district over a deadly bus crash that took place in Orange County.
Court documents state that Juan Castillo filed the suit on behalf of his son, claiming that the child has suffered lifelong injuries and mental anguish from the crash in 2023.
The suit blames the district and claims they should have done better at vetting and training the bus company and driver.
Dozens of students were injured during the incident. Band director Gina Pellettiere and chaperone Beatrice Ferrari were also killed.
