FAA invests over $12 million in Republic Airport for repair work

The money will go toward reconstructing a taxiway, adding a taxiway edge lighting system and replacing existing airfield guidance signs.

East Farmingdale's Republic Airport is getting over $12 million in funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The money will go toward reconstructing a taxiway, adding a taxiway edge lighting system and replacing existing airfield guidance signs.
The funding is part of a $100 million investment for a dozen airports across the United States.
