Former Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto is expected to plead guilty to state corruption charges.
A source tells Newsday that the plea will come Friday, and will spare him any jail time.
The 70-year-old Massapequa man is reportedly expected to admit in Nassau County Court to a felony charge of corrupt use of position or authority, and a misdemeanor charge of official misconduct.
Venditto served two decades as Oyster Bay's top elected official. He resigned in 2017.
A separate federal corruption case against him ended in his acquittal.
