The U.S. Open is now just two days away from its official start.
Long Islanders crowded Bethpage Black Tuesday morning as practice rounds entered their second day.
Many Long Islanders turned out to try to catch a glimpse of Tiger Woods. Woods held a press conference Tuesday morning and expressed his excitement about returning to Bethpage Black, where he won the title in 2002.
One Long Islander said he hopes to see someone give Woods a run for his money at this year's U.S. Open.
It was a soggy start Monday to the second U.S. Open at the Long Island facility and Tuesday morning wasn?t much better. Golfers and fans say they?re hoping for some sunny skies.
