There is new leadership coming to Amtrak as it gears up for the so-called “summer of hell.”
The railroad has named a former Delta Airlines chairman as its new president and CEO.
Richard Anderson will take charge July 12, just days after planned repair work begins at Penn Station.
Anderson will serve with current president and CEO Charles Moorman through the end of 2017, which is when Moorman will become and Amtrak adviser.
