A former bank employee from Massapequa was arrested yesterday and charged with running an investment scam.
Police say in September of 2011, 27-year-old Stefans Zaffuto got a woman to invest $5,000 by promising her a 20-percent return.
When the client called Zaffuto to collect, police say the former Chase Bank worker couldn't come up with the money.
Zaffuto now faces grand larceny charges.
