A Uniondale man was sentenced this morning to 25 years to life in prison for his role in a double murder.

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore says English Thomas drove the getaway car after two accomplices broke into a Yonkers home in 2010. The men killed Sandra Hackley and her husband, and shot the couple's 12-year-old daughter in the leg.

Prosecutors say Thomas is a Crips gang member, who has also been indicted on attempted murder charges in a separate shooting last year in Rockville Centre.
