Village officials said emergency sanitary sewer repairs are underway along Palace Place near the intersection of Irving Avenue.
People who live on Palace Place will still be able to get in and out of their homes.
Officials warned that there could be a backup in the area for motorists, so they are encouraged to find alternative routes.
