Nassau County police say an elderly woman was killed in a head-on crash in Hicksville.

They say 90-year-old Marie Capelli and another driver collided head-on Friday afternoon at the intersection of South Oyster Bay and Old Country roads.

Capelli died at Nassau University Medical Center.

Officials say the other driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
