Nassau police are searching for a killer Monday after an elderly woman was found dead in her New Cassel home.

Police say the last time Evelyn Everette was heard from was Friday evening. The 88-year-old?s body was found Sunday afternoon; police say she was suffocated with a pillow. She was discovered after parishioners from the Holy Trinity Baptist Church noticed she didn?t show up for services.

According to police, robbery may be the motive since her purse and walled was emptied.
