East Northport native Sari Schorr’s new album “Joyful Sky” has hit the top spot of the blues charts.
The album was a collaboration between the singer-songwriter and famed rock guitarist Robin Trower.
Schorr started her career performing at local clubs. Now the internationally acclaimed artist is proud to see the success of her new album.
“I can tell you it's a hell of a lot of fun to have a number one. It's the first time I've had a number one on the Billboard charts,” she said.
Schorr also tells News 12 that she is working out the details for a U.S. tour featuring a stop on Long Island soon.
