An East Hampton man has pleaded guilty to strangling and stabbing a dog.

An East Hampton man has pleaded guilty to strangling and stabbing a dog.
Prosecutors say Jose Galvez-Garcia killed a 4-year-old dog last December.
Officials say the pet belonged to a family member of the suspect.
Galvez-Garcia faces up to two years in prison.
He is due back in court next month.
