Thanksgiving is a few days away, but there's already a lot of excitement over Christmas. In this week's East End, News 12's Doug Geed found a great spot in Riverhead where you can take the family for some holiday fun.
The concept for Christmas House Long Island is "everything Christmas in one place."
Inside a long-vacant store in Riverhead, Long Islander Justin Schwartz created the walk-through exhibit.
"We keep everybody socially distanced at all times, and it's one group at a time. Every group that buys tickets are led around by a tour guide," says Schwartz.
There are 10 rooms, each with their own theme. One has a dazzling display of Christmas cakes - all of them real.
There's the gingerbread room. There's even a summer beach scene, where the elves play volleyball!
