East End: Beekeeper Joe Magnoli

Bees might be the best farm workers on the planet.
As soon as the morning sun hits them, the hives warm up and the bees wake up.
They then begin their daylong routine, the journey to find nectar and bring it back to the hive.
Part of that routine is one of the most amazing things in nature - the bees actually tell each other where to find flowers by doing a special dance inside the hive.
Beekeeper Joe Magnoli is passionate about bees, and protective of his own. He's been successful fighting off the colony collapse that's been wiping out many honeybees nationwide.
As for the honey he sells, Sweet Sophie's, the name comes from his dog.
