In this week's The East End, News 12's Doug Geed visits Bakewicz Farms in Wading River.

Justin Bakewicz grew up in a farming family. Now, at just 27 years old, he's got his own 11-acre farm.

They sell their own produce, but this time of year, it's all about fall fun.

There are animals - most of them rescues.

And it was through rescue animals that he met his future wife.

They have five cows, six pigs, 17 goats, one alpaca and a few chickens and ducks running around.

Justin's mom partnered with her son creating the farm, and now spends much of her time in the farm kitchen. She makes pies, apple cider doughnuts, jams, pulled pork and cornbread.
