News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it could be a wet commute early Friday, but the weekend will be sunny and seasonable.

TONIGHT: Light showers likely with a few wet snowflakes mixing in. No winter accumulations expected. Temperatures steady in the mid-30s.

FRIDAY:  Light showers likely in the morning, with sprinkles lingering in the afternoon. Cloudy with highs near 40. Chilly and clearing overnight with lows in the upper 20s. 

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonably chilly. Highs near 40. Lows in the upper 20s.

SUNDAY: Ample sunshine. Cold to start, but pleasant in the afternoon. Highs in the low 40s. Lows near 30. 

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonable. Highs near 40, colder overnight - lows in the 20s. 

NEXT WEEK: Becoming warmer with highs approaching 50 by the end of the workweek. Clouds increase, but significant rain or snow is not expected.
