News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says there will be another dry day before rain returns on Friday.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

-Nice weather through Thursday before the next round of rain arrives Friday. Up to 1 inch of rain is possible in spots. Showers will taper off into Saturday morning with improving weather on Saturday and a great day Sunday.

-A nice warmup is coming next week with sunshine and highs in the 70s
