Babylon Town will soon be providing confidential drug and alcohol counseling for Lindenhurst High School students at the school.
"What we're hoping is that by being in the school we'll be more accessible to students," says Alexandra Lemma, a counselor with Babylon Town's Beacon Family Wellness Center.
Students will begin learning about the new services next week. Actual counseling sessions should start a few weeks after that.
Once the counseling services are up and running, counselors will be available beginning the first high school lunch period until about 6 p.m a couple of days a week.
