Driver, motorcyclist injured in Manorville collision

Officials say James Lapham was riding north on Weeks Avenue when he struck a car turning left from Calender Road.

A motorcycle crash left two people hurt Friday afternoon in Manorville, according to police.

Officials say James Lapham was riding north on Weeks Avenue when he struck a car turning left from Calender Road around 4:30 p.m.

The 29-year-old motorcyclist was taken to NYU Langone Hospital with serious injuries.

The 42-year-old driver of the vehicle was also hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Suffolk County Police Department encourages anyone with additional information about the accident to call 631-852-8752.
