Police say a man driving a stolen vehicle plowed through a PVC fence, flipped it onto the front lawn of a North Babylon home and ran away.
The incident happened on Kime Avenue around 1:20 a.m. Friday.
In surveillance video obtained by News 12, you can see the male driver -- dressed in dark clothing and carrying a duffel bag -- escaping the car unscathed and fleeing the scene.
Police removed the car that went through the fence and were seen searching for the suspect with a K-9 unit.
Andrew Spadafora owns the home nearly struck by the car. He has previously been featured on News 12 for his lavish Christmas light displays.
Spadafora says detectives told him the car was stolen in East Islip in early April. He also says the suspect left behind two iPhones in the wreck.
